Safe Handling of Medicines (Level 2) 

This course is designed to highlight the types of medication that employees are likely to come across in the work life and how these are classified as well as what legislation exists in relation to these medicines. It will cover the roles and responsibilities that different people have when using medication and good practice for supplying, storing and disposing of medication. Finally it will cover the safe administration of medicines, what to do when problems arise and the need for sound documentation and record keeping.
